Advancing local waste recovery solutions to deliver against the global plastics treaty: shaping the future of the Circular Action Hub (CAH)
On the eve of the official opening of the UN INC-5.2 negotiations on plastic pollution, we invite you to join a strategic roundtable to help shape the future role of the Circular Action Hub (CAH).
As governments advance towards a global plastics treaty, there is a growing need for mechanisms that can support its implementation, including platforms that identify and connect effective, inclusive waste solutions with the finance and policy support they need. The Hub is evolving to meet this need.
This invitation-only session will convene a select group of stakeholders to explore how the CAH can serve as a matchmaking and visibility tool aligned with the treaty’s goals. Your insights will contribute directly to defining the Hub’s next phase, including positioning, engagement, and priority features.
The format will include opening remarks, a facilitated working-group discussion, and informal networking over a breakfast reception. This is an invitation-only session. Participants will include representatives of donors, corporates, waste collection and recycling projects, and members of the Circular Action Hub advisory board.
